As I started writing...and whilst searching for a Picture of a "Welcome Mat"... I started thinking about First Impressions. Whether it be your "Home" or "Your Look"...We are always trying to make an Impression.
Let us look at the Following : Garden's;Porches;Patio's and Entrances. These are the first areas your visitors are introduced to. Why not post some Pictures of either of the above...and maybe I can suggest a few tips to help you "Show these off"...
I love the "Colour Combination" of the exterior walls...Everything seems to have a "Flow". The plaster bands and the doors are painted the same and act harmoniously as a "Complimentary" contrast to the "Main Wall" colour...The shutters and roof tiles add an interesting accent...but at the same time are practical colours considering "maintenance".The Landscape is neat and virtually maintenance free yet is pleasing to the eye...The path leading up to the "Main Entrance" is clear and easy accessible. These are just a few pointers you need to look out for when considering your "Layout" for your Entrances...The verb meaning for "Entrance" - is to fill someone with wonder and delight - holding their entire attention...
